Frequently Asked Questions
How do I track an order?
evbtuning2026-05-05T20:09:57+00:00Once an order is received and processed, tracking is sent to your email on file. This is shipped with one of the major carriers to which you can easily paste it in google to look up the status. For bench flash ECUs being returned to the customer, we will send you a direct email with your return shipping information.I received my OBDII device, now what?
evbtuning2026-05-05T19:33:17+00:00If you just received your OBDII device in the mail, you will now want to head over to our Instructions page and select the instructions that matches the device you received. Make sure to read the entire page and follow each step to upload your file to us.
Where do I send my ECU in to get it bench flashed?
evbtuning2026-05-05T19:35:23+00:00Once we have your confirmed and paid order, we will provide you mail in instructions for your ECU. Make sure when you ship your ECU, you package it well, insure it, and send us the tracking number along with your order number so we can insure proper delivery. DO NOT ship an ECU without a paid order and shipping instructions.
How long does tuning take?
evbtuning2026-05-05T21:01:38+00:00OBDII: usually is done the same day as long as we have the car or file before 10:00am MST. Bench flash really depends on when we receive your ECU. We typically get these out the following day.
Can the tune be returned to stock?
evbtuning2026-05-05T20:59:32+00:00Yes. In most cases, your vehicle can be flashed back to its original stock file at any time.
Will tuning void my warranty?
evbtuning2026-05-05T21:10:30+00:00ECU tuning cannot void your full vehicle warranty (refer to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act). Tuning may affect your manufacturer powertrain warranty. Some vehicles you can flash back to stock and there are no flags or checks the dealership diagnostic equipment can see. Others throw flags pretty quickly. Its always recommended to flash back to stock when you go in for service. We recommend checking with your dealership if you have major concerns.
How does the tuning process work?
evbtuning2026-05-05T20:59:55+00:00Depending on your vehicle, tuning can be completed via:
- OBDII (plug-in device)
- Bench ECU (removal required)
- Remote file service

evbtuning2026-05-05T20:58:50+00:00Yes — when done correctly. Our calibrations are designed to stay within safe operating limits while improving performance, reliability, and drivability.
