Shipping & Returns Policy

At Clark Turner Tuning, every tune file, ECU service, and flashing tool is built specifically for your vehicle and order. Placing an order means you accept the terms below.

Order Cancellations

Once a flashing tool is VIN-locked to your vehicle, it can’t be cancelled.

Once a tune file has been built and delivered, the order can’t be cancelled.

Refund Policy

Tune files and tuning services are custom-built digital products. Once a file has been created, sent, or used, we’re unable to offer refunds.

Refunds won’t be granted for:

  • Mechanical issues with the vehicle
  • Pre-existing conditions or problems
  • Improper installation or misuse of the product
  • Modifications outside of supported configurations
  • User error
  • Subjective dissatisfaction with perceived performance (“butt dyno” feel)
  • Files overwritten by a dealer or software update
  • Not following the instructions provided

Clark Turner Tuning supplies tested, proven tuning files. Before purchasing, it’s on the customer to confirm the vehicle is mechanically sound and compatible.

In cases where a refund is approved due to extenuating circumstances, it will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout.

Usage Window

Tuning products must be used within 6 months of the purchase date.

Products not used within that window are considered expired, and no refund will be issued under any circumstance.

Support Policy

We provide technical support for 30 days following delivery of your tune file.

Beyond that window, further support, file revisions, or assistance may come with an additional service fee.

Future Modifications / File Updates

Made changes to your vehicle since your last tune? If updates are supported and needed, a file service fee applies.

Dealer Flashing / File Overwrites

If your tuned file gets overwritten by a dealer, repair shop, or any third party, you’re responsible for either purchasing a new file or covering the applicable service fee.

Clark Turner Tuning isn’t liable for files lost to factory updates or third-party software changes.

Tool Reset Fees

If a flashing tool needs to be reset because the vehicle wasn’t returned to stock before service, sale, or transfer, the customer covers any reset fees that apply.

Tool resets are only possible where the manufacturer or platform allows it.

Shipping Policy

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We can’t be held responsible for carrier delays, weather-related issues, incorrect addresses, missed deliveries, or other circumstances outside our control.

Every package ships insured.

All ECU shipments require a signature on delivery.

Returned, Refused, or Undeliverable Packages

If your package is returned for any of the following:

  • Incorrect address
  • Missed delivery attempt
  • Refusal of the package
  • Failed signature confirmation

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Return shipping fees
  • Rerouting charges
  • Cost of reshipment

Want it sent again? A new shipping fee is required before we resend it.

ECU Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for packaging any ECU sent to Clark Turner Tuning securely.

We recommend proper padding and insured shipping for anything you send our way.

Clark Turner Tuning is not liable for damage that occurs in transit due to inadequate packaging or carrier mishandling.

Final Sale Items

The following become final sale once work begins:

  • Tune files
  • VIN-locked flashing tools
  • Custom ECU services
  • Digital tuning services
